As the end of October approaches and temperatures start to drop, it’s time to start figuring out your heavier layers for the chilly Colorado days ahead. This can include Flannels, Long-sleeve Thermals and Tees and, most importantly, a great winter jacket. It just so happens we have a great selection of all those here at Spruce!
Spruce Fit 7 is a great example of what to break out for one of those frigid days or a day up in the mountains.
-Starting from the bottom we have the Johnny Trek-lite Boot ($95) from Native Shoes. These are a perfect light-weight alternative to any winter boot and are made from recycled plastics with an EVA midsole which make them super light. They are also lined with microfleece that’ll keep your feet warm all day!
-Up from there is a pair of Neoblue denim ($60) in a chestnut color which are ideal for Fall. This denim is perfect for anyone since it’s a slightly slimmer pant but with 2% elastane for added comfort and stretch.
-On Top we have a white Brixton L/S Thermal ($39) that’s a bit of a throwback for some. The thermal is a great piece for it’s interesting texture and extreme warmth. The Brixton Cass Jacket ($76) is layered on top of the thermal for an extra cozy fit. This jacket is a great addition to anyone’s winter wardrobe. Not only is it incredibly warm but it has a tailored fit. Also, the corduroy collar adds a subtle flare to it.
-A Herschel Beanie ($25) is a Winter necessity no matter where you live.
If you’re going out with some friends for brunch or a nice Sunday out, Spruce Fit 8 is a perfect outfit to look great but stay comfortable.
-Starting from the bottom, we have a pair of AP Rover Liteknit Mid’s ($95) that are a super light and comfortable shoe for anyone. The all black colorway worn here is perfect for any time of the year but especially fall with the little gum sole accent.
-We decided to pair those with the Neoblue Skinny chinos ($60). These are an incredible pair of pants that have a skinnier fit and added stretch. These are versatile enough to be worn at any occasion. I highly recommend coming in and trying them on.
-On top, we decided to change it up a little: we layered a Brixton Bowery flannel ($64) with a brand new Herschel Supply Fleece Pullover ($99.99). This gives you the ability to show your layers since the flannel is longer and also stay warm when the temp drops. Not to mention the Pullover gives you some vintage vibes as well.
-Last but definitely not least we finished the fit off with a pair of KOMONO Taylor sunglasses ($119.99). In the all black color way, the shades will play perfectly into any wardrobe. The cylindrical frames compliment most and offer a classic yet modern feel.
As you've seen by the recent snow and already frigid days, winter is not too far away! I highly recommend having your long sleeves and layers ready soon. Come check out our great selection of clothing in-store or online at www.spruce.me.
